Farmer's Market

Today is Wellness Day at the Market.  In addition to our variety of vendors we will have other booths and activities devoted to wellness.  Today will feature a community-invited walk on the North Country Trail (NCT).  Please park at the Early Learning Center or on the street alongside the Quilters Clinic.  We will then shuttle some cars over to our starting point on Ramsey Road and walk north for 3.5 miles on the NCT where we will end at Spring Lake State Forest Campground.  There our shuttle people will take us back to our cars in downtown Fife Lake, where we can enjoy browsing through the Farmers Market.  There will also be a booth there where you can pick up maps and brochures of the NCT.  We should return by 11am.  The walk will take us past Fife Lake Creek, Headquaters Dam and Headquarters Lake, crossing Lakeshore Drive where we will stop our walk at the Campground Trailhead. THINGS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING on our walk are a water bottle, appropriate hiking or walking shoes, bug spray and proper attire as we will go rain or shine.  Hope to see you on Farmer's Market Wellness Saturday, the 22nd at 9am!  If you have any questions about the hike, contact Lisa at 231.510.3813.
